My MIndset List

Hello, While  going through this list of sentences and phrases I did come across I do agree with and it is number 15. Colorful lapel ribbons have always been worn to indicate support for a cause. While going back and thinking of all the times I have seen this ribbon, I can really only think of two instances. One is during March, because that is Breast Cancer Awareness month. At gas stations they sell the pink ribbons to raise money for the women with this cancer. The other instance is when I was a freshman at Fort Dodge Senior High school and my social studies class would make these ribbons and sell them to raise money for Darfur. That is why I do agree with colorful ribbons are to support causes.

I also like number 58. Beethoven has always been a good name for a dog. I like this as well because it reminds me of the movie homeward bound where the dogs find there way home. It is a sad movie, but with a wonderful ending. So if you have not seen it I encourage you to go watch it, you will thank me later. So is Beethoven a good name for a dog, yes it is a great name.

68. They have never worried about a Russian missile strike on the U.S. This phrase I do not agree with at all. Like come on, we went through the cold war. Four years ago I went to Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania visiting many destinations, one of them just happened to be the Pentagon. During our visit there our tour guide told us about a rumor  that during the Cold War the Russians never had any less than two missiles aimed at this hot dog stand, “They thought this was the Pentagon’s most top secret meeting room, and the entire Pentagon was a large fortress built around this hot dog stand.” So obviously this statement or sentence is completely false.

57. A purple dinosaur has always supplanted Barney Google and Barney Fife. Every time I think of a purple dinosaur i think of Barney myself. When I was little that is all I watched. So this statement I do agree with because it makes sense, what other purple dinosaurs are there.

32. Czechoslovakia has never existed. Honestly I can't remember any country named Czechoslovakia, but I do remember a country being named Czech republic or something of that wording. So I am pretty sure that there was a country named Czechoslovakia. In history class I remember us talking about it and how something happened to it during one of the world wars, but don't quote me on it.
